Booking is now open to member councils for BATPC’s New Councillor Induction training session taking place on Thursday 21st November 2024, at Shefford House (15 High Street, Shefford SG17 5DD) from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
This is run as a single, in-person session, and guides parish and town councillors through the basics of local council practice, including roles & responsibilities, councils’ powers & duties, council meetings and more. The sessions are designed for new councillors, but bookings are open for all councillors on BATPC member authorities.
