BATPC wishes a very Happy Bedfordshire Day to all!
Town and parish councils across the county are flying the Bedfordshire Flag today, and the occasion is being celebrated online by BATPC member councils including Dunstable Town Council here, and Leighton-Linslade Town Council here, and by BATPC’s President HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Susan Lousada, here.
28th November has been our County Day since 2015, when the anniversary of the birth of John Bunyan topped a public vote organised by The Friends of Bedfordshire Society.
You can read more about Bedfordshire Day and the Bedfordshire Flag on the British County Flags website here, where you can read the story behind each component part of the county flag.
The day has come to be celebrated with the consumption of Bedfordshire Clangers and Chocolate Toothpaste; however you are marking the occasion, BATPC wishes a Happy Bedfordshire Day to all!
